About us
Teut Engineering was founded in 1996 in Wittstock on the Dosse. We are a small but highly efficient team of specialists. Our professionally skilled staff plan the construction of wind energy converters, primarily in the federal state of Brandenburg, but also in neighbouring states and across Europe.
Further key activities of the company include:
- Technical management of wind energy converters and wind farms
- Preparation of expert reports and assessments (noise, shadow flicker, yield, special reports)
- General contracting services for turnkey construction projects
- Project marketing
- Project funding

- Operation of wind energy converters
Modern use of wind energy is based on a centuries-old tradition of exploiting the natural forces of the wind. At the turn of the last century, in North Germany alone, roughly 30,000 windmills were in operation. Today, this technology sector follows on in the same tradition; in the meantime over 150,000 people are employed in the industry. Depending on its location, a modern class 2 MW turbine can generate a power output of up to 6 million kW – enough to satisfy the energy needs of around 1,700 four-person households.
Two particular approaches should be vigorously pursued in the future:
- The exploitation of existing energy-saving potential by the efficient use of energy;
- The continued expansion of the use of wind energy, hydropower, biomass, geothermal and solar energy to produce a renewable energy mix.
In the not-too-distant future current energy resources will be depleted. Wind energy is infinitely renewable!
